Marsden has played its role in the transition towards carbon and biodiversity net zero future since installing centralised biomass heating in 2008 and rooftop solar since 2011. EV charging is located in car park, for four cars via two 7 kW pods. A small amount of electricity is also generated from the River Churn, an Archimedes' screw turbine can generate around 3.5kW depending on the flow rate of the water!
