Welcome to The Marsden Estate - A family-run Cotswolds estate focused on developing a smarter farmstead and providing a mix of residential properties and rural office workspaces.
A Family-Run Agricultural Estate in the Heart of the Cotswolds.
The estate compromises an holistic mix of residential properties and rural workspace offices all available to rent; this combination of living and working spaces enables the estate to be both vibrant and forward-looking with the requirements of the future at the forefront of what we do.
Our estate is situated in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold countryside. This calm and gentle rural landscape is an ideal working environment away from the noise, pollution, congestion and pressure which blights traditional commercial centres.
The estate occupies 1100 acres of Cotswold brash clay soil producing combinable crops and grass. Situated within an AONB, environmental stewardship is fundamental to its management. The estate strives to constantly improve the farming habitat and is proud to operate under the higher tier stewardship agreement. The estate continues to proactively explore ways to enhance natural capital in tandem with producing food. This is done by integrating livestock and arable farming via mob-grazing on herbal leys, cover cropping, water-meadows, and woodland pasture grazing. In addition, miscanthus is grown as an energy crop. A key focus is on implementing regenerative farming methods to increase the health of the soils by keeping to a minimum the use of artificial inputs.
Marsden has recently seen extensive renovations and restorations in line with our Grade II listed status. This includes residential property and commercial property in the form of offices and storage space. These renovations have made for delightful living and working in the heart of the Cotswolds. As well as long-term lets, the estate also has a Rural Boardroom, available to hire.
