The Marsden Estate has always cared deeply about sustainability. We were one of the first adopters of a Biomass boiler heating system for all of the Estate cottages, workspaces and Manor. Biomass is a green alternative to fossil fuels.

Our equestrian barn is largely powered by solar panels.

From a farming perspective, we are a part of the Higher Tier Stewardship Scheme which requires us to manage the land in ways which will protect, restore and enhance the environment, whilst helping to mitigate the effects of climate change.
